Training camp, hotel Pueblo Palma, Mallorca
The training camp I did there last year with Eric was good, fine hotel great weather, a little pool and lots of cycling possibilities. So I was sure there was no need to search for somewhere else to go on a training
camp.
Eric unfortunately could not come along, but Kristien did. And luckily some people reacted to my suggestion so I was joined by Thierry Claes, Wim De Doncker, Jeroen Maetens and in the second week also Tiedo Tinga. We
had the ambitious plans to train and get much stronger (what else). Unfortunately though, the weather was not very cooperative the first week, with some hard rides in the mountains replaced by somewhat flatter parts
due to the cold during the descents. Still we managed to get quite a bit done with some 30 hours of training in the first seven days. The second week was a lot better fortunately, so we upped the training a bit. For
