Mantra
Some of you who have seen my race clothes have wondered about these Chinese signs which are on there. They are just a little gimmick to make the clothes more attractive, and also serve as mantra to keep my spirit
high during the race (though in fact, this is usually achieved using songs, like "everybody is a star" from Felix or "Lovely day" from Front 242 - should have also used "ride like the wind" in Lanzarote, might have
been useful).
Anyway, as could be expected, these Chinese signs have a special meaning. On the stomach (which represents the "Chi" the life strength), is the sign for "believe". This indicates that you should not give up, and
believe that you are capable of doing a good race.
On the back, I have got the Chines signs for "swift" because, you have to move swiftly during the race, going as fast as possible, without expending too much energy.
