Ok, this year it was my turn. As one of the many rookies, one of the many athletes who had dreamed about going to Hawai'i, about doing the most important race in triathlon history. So now I know Kailua Pier, Palani Road, Queen K., the seven eleven, Hawi, the Pit, Energy Lab and of course, Alii Drive. It was also the first time I traveled so far, my first encounter with the American way (even if it is very much influenced by the Hawaian culture).
